This was discovered by city health inspectors last week  Thursday. It was stated in a report by vietnamnet.vn an inspection of the Sanpan factory in Binh Tan District uncovered that four boxes of the Phosphates Mix additive imported from Thailand were past their expiry date. In addition to the Phosphates Mix, Sanpan also had used flavouring, without expiry date labels.

The inspection also found other products sold by Sanpan - 8 of which had improper labelling and 10 from other companies that had been relabelled.

The report further stated that the city’s Health Department suspended the factory and has thus gathered further samples for testing.
