Packaging regulatory event by Pira International 25 Jun 2009
Pira International's 26th annual Plastics and Paper conference will be held on 8-11 December 2009 in conjunction with their fourth annual Extractables and Leachables conference.
The two events will be co-located in the city of Dublin, Ireland. Delegates will have the option of moving between conference presentations over this four day event.
With the agenda for both conferences soon to be announced, Pira International formed specialist scientific committees to develop conference programmes to suit the needs of these constantly evolving legislative landscapes.
The scientific committees have now been announced for both conferences and will include key industry representatives:
- Annette Schaeffer, Health and Consumers Directorate General, THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION, Belgium
- Luigi Rossi, KELLER AND HECKMAN, Belgium
- Alexandre Feigenbaum, Head of Unit, Food Contact Materials, EFSA, Italy
- Barry Podd, Global Regulatory Affairs Manager, KIMBERLY CLARK EUROPE, UK
- Ralf Eisert, Head of Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs, BASF, Germany
