UK: Label printer Buckleys to be liquidated 28 Oct 2008

Tipografic Print Solutions (TPS), which includes the former label producer Buckley and Bland, has stopped trading and is to go into liquidation at the end of this month.
According to reports, the Stockport label printer had taken a knock from the economic climate and significant losses.

About 100 staff were made redundant on 10 October when the firm stopped trading. It is expected to go into liquidation on 31 October.

Affected by economic climate
Matthew Dunham, business restructuring partner at BDO Stoy Hayward, who has been assisting the company has stated: "From the outset the business has been affected by the economic climate, and has incurred significant losses. It is now looking to enter liquidation."

This liquidation comes just four months after TPS bought Buckleys Print and Packaging (BPP) out of administration in June this year.
