Abattoir in Australia keen to sell kangaroo meat to China 21 Oct 2009

In south west Queensland a kangaroo abattoir believes there is great potential for the sale of kangaroo meat to China.
The abattoir, United Game Processors which is based in Charleville has recently started processing again after being shut when its product was banned from Russia.
 
John Burey, managing director has stated that "AQIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service) has said that they will look at inviting the Chinese out for an audit in November."
