Trial date moved for former managers of slaughterhouse 03 Sep 2009

This week US District Court Judge Linda Reade ruled to delay the trial of the four former managers of Agriprocessors Inc, a slaughterhouse which faced a raid last year.
Sholom Rubashkin, former top manager, and three co-defendants pleaded not guilty to immigration, bank fraud, wire fraud and mail fraud charges.

Reade ruled that the "prodigious" amount of negative pretrial publicity about Agriprocessors, Inc., Rubashkin caused potential jurors to develop a bias against them, according to a report by AP.

October 13 is the trial date which has been set.
