UK: auction of plant to take place 24 Jun 2009
On the instructions of The Barton Meat Company Ltd, Pro Auction will offer for sale by auction, live and webcast, the complete contents of the meat processing factory on 15th July 2009.

The Barton Meat Company provides quality meat, dairy, and specialty food products in the United Kingdom, the company is owned by wholesale food distributor 3663.
The auction sale will include the latest model meat processing equipment with all aspects of used meat processing machines offered to the buyers, the key items to include an AEW Delford Systems APC integrated portion slicing line along with an Injectstar double head diagonal 424 needle pickle injector line.
Two Multivac packing lines are offered including the latest 2006 model Multivac R530 thermoformer. Primary processing equipment such as Kolbe MWE52 mixer grinders and Handtmann VF50 vacuum fillers will go under the hammer.
Interesting lots for the medium size meat processors will include Mutlivac C500 & VC999 - K12's vacuum packers, numerous bandsaw's, dicers, patty formers and meat strappers.
The 5.5m factory which processes beef, lamb and pork, opened in Manchester in July 2006, on the former chilled foods distribution centre operated by Sainsbury's for its home delivery business.
The auction sale will take place on the site on 15th July 2009.
